Profile

Martin Tavaut practises in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure (electricity, upstream and downstream oil, renewable energy) sectors in France and Africa.

In these various fields, Martin has gained considerable experience in large-scale projects, from their design through to their commissioning (due diligence, regulatory aspects, environmental law, OHADA law).

He has also developed expertise in investment arbitration (ICSID, CCJA, etc.)

Martin is also involved in institutional and legislative reform programmes.

He is a speaker at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, for the Degree in Economic International Law in Africa (African international investment law module, 2015).
