Philippe Matignon specialises in mergers & acquisitions, and more specifically in private equity and investment capital. He advises French and foreign investment funds in all their LBO and capital investment transactions. Philippe also advises teams of managers in relation to these transactions, and in corporate equity and group restructuring transactions.

Philippe Matignon is also involved in restructuring operations and joint ventures on behalf of industrial players.

  • Advising the management of Novescia (Medical analysis laboratories) during the sale of Novescia to Cerba Group (2015).
  • Advising Eurazeo PME during the sale of Gault and Fremont (packaging) to UI Gestion (2015).
  • Advising Milestone Capital in the acquisition of various assets (the O’Cedar, Maison Verte, Baranne brands) belonging to Reckitt Benkiser (2014).
  • Advising the Magnum Capital fund in the acquisition of the NACE group (educational institutions) (2014).
  • Assisting an industrial group (aeronautics) in the reorganisation and streamlining of several of its divisions (2014).
  • Advising the managers of the company CEBTP (consultancy engineering firm) during the sale of the company by the Grontmij group to a consortium of investment funds (Siparex, Cathay Capital, BPI France Investissements, and BNP Paribas développement). (2013).
  • Advising LBO France during the sale of the Pom’Alliance group to Cap Seine (2013).
  • Advising LBO France during the sale of the Mazarine (communication) group to Fondations Capital (2013).
