Bpifrance and Unifergie were advised by Jeantet on the extension of one of the largest wind farms in Europe owned by the Ostwind group.
Paris, 20 May 2021 – Jeantet has acted as co-arranger and lender to Unifergie and Bpifrance in the financing of nine wind farms of the Ostwind group, located in the Pas-de-Calais department. Once built, these wind farms will comprise of 17 wind turbines (10 Enercon E82 for a power of 23MW and 7 Vestas V117 for a power of 21MW) for a total power of 44MW.
The financing was structured as a long-term loan, a VAT loan and a DSRF credit line for each of the nine project companies.
The Jeantet team was composed of Christophe Jacomin (partner), Calixte Glotin (associate), Cyprien Feilhès (associate), and Lobna Issaïden (associate) on the financing part, and Adrien Fourmon (counsel) and Anthony Bron (associate), on the land / energy audit.
The Ostwind Group was advised by SK & Partner, with Laurent Brault (partner), Géraldine Lesage (lawyer) and Julie Joulin (lawyer).
The 254 contracts in the transaction were signed electronically via the platform Closd, using Docusign technology, in strict conformity with social distancing rules.
This new transaction in the area of renewable energy project finance illustrates the skills of Jeantet’s teams in completing its clients’ transactions in this particular field and context.
