Jeantet advises the banking pool on the financing of the Falcon Project
Paris, June 30, 2023 – Jeantet has assisted the banking pool, made up of the Crédit Agricole group under the aegis of Unifergie, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, the Caisse Régionale Sud Rhône Alpes and six other regional branches, in financing the Falcon project developed by Q Energy.
The deal, valued at €96 million, consists of financing a portfolio of 3 solar projects and one onshore wind farm project in south-west France:
La Brède (9.77 MWp), a solar project located in Gironde,
Mas d’en Ramis (10.58 MWp), a solar project in Pyrénées Orientales,
Chaume Solar (28.8 MWp), in Pays de la Loire, and
Souleilla (24 MW), a wind farm in Aude.
Souleilla was the very first wind farm built by Q ENERGY (formerly RES) in 2001, and the first of their projects to undergo repowering, which is currently being renewed.
Q Energy, a leading operator in the renewable energies market for 23 years, is increasing its production capacity on the French grid by 73MW.
Three of the assets have been awarded a 20-year remuneration supplement through EDF Obligation d’achat, and one photovoltaic solar power plant has been awarded a 15-year cPPA through Les Mousquetaires.
Q Energy employs 200 people in the development, construction and operation of wind and photovoltaic projects and, more recently, in the development of energy storage solutions.
