Jeantet appoints four new partners

Paris, 1st January 2023 – Jeantet announces the appointment of 4 new partners on 1st January 2023: Maxime Brotz (M&A), Guillaume Fornier (M&A), Adrien Fourmon (Public Law), Olivier Lyon Lynch (Banking-Finance-Insurance).

As part of its development and growth strategy, Jeantet announces, barely one month after the arrival of 3 new lateral partners, the appointment of 4 new partners. The firm thus confirms its confidence in and support for the many talents that make up its teams and demonstrates its desire to strengthen its expertise in strategic areas in order to enhance its position as a leading multidisciplinary firm in the market.

With now 35 partners, Jeantet enters 2023 with the ambition to provide its clients with even better support on their main strategic issues.

For Karl Hepp de Sevelinges, co-managing partner: “These appointments recognize the remarkable career paths and developments within our firm. They perfectly reflect our development strategy and our desire to strengthen our expertise by relying on the talents that are the foundation of our almost 100-year-old firm.”

A lawyer since 2011, Maxime Brotz joined Jeantet in 2015, as part of Thierry Brun’s M&A team. He works on M&A matters, for French and international clients, and PE, mainly for investment funds. In particular, he has developed a specific practice in healthcare transactions, advising several specialized funds and groups in this sector. Today, his practice ranges from small cap to mid-cap, on the PE side, and from mid-cap to upper mid-cap, on the M&A side.

Guillaume Fornier started his career at Jeantet in 2009 and works alongside Karl Hepp de Sevelinges. Guillaume advises listed and unlisted companies on their strategic acquisitions and disposals, capital transactions, shareholder relationships or partnerships. He has developed significant expertise in cross-border M&A transactions. He also advises investors and growth companies on fundraising (from start-up to series A and B), restructuring, external growth transactions and exits.

Adrien Fourmon joined Jeantet in April 2020 to develop the firm’s public law expertise. Adrien specializes in public law, energy and environmental law, and advises particularly on regulatory matters. He advises on M&A advisory and audit assignments, as well as on litigation in public economic law and business law in the energy and environment sectors. His skills are also recognized in project financing in the energy and environment sectors, in particular with banks, investors, developers, local authorities, national and local public establishments and private companies of public entities.

Olivier Lyon Lynch joined Jeantet in 2017 within the Institutions and Financial Services practice headed by Martine Samuelian. Olivier provides advice to banking, financial and insurance establishments and their intermediaries in connection with their litigation before the judicial courts and regulatory authorities (AMF, ACPR). He also advises them on banking, financial and insurance regulations. Olivier has also developed significant expertise in the field of insurance law, both as counsel and in litigation.
