JEANTET, advisory of AREVA in the context of the sale of its offshore wind business

AREVA transferred on January 5, 2017 to Gamesa its 50% shareholding in the share capital of Adwen Offshore S.L.U.

This sale is part of the transformation plan undertaken by AREVA to refocus its business on nuclear fuel cycle activities.

The Jeantet team included Yvon Dréano, partner (Corporate – M&A Department) and Sophie Merlet, associate (Corporate – M&A Department). AREVA was also assisted by the Spanish law firm Garrigues and the German one Heuking Kühn.

Gamesa was advised by the Spanish law firm Uria Menendez. With respect to Siemens, whose offshore activities are currently being merged with those of Gamesa, they were advised by Linklaters.
