Paris, August 11th, 2020 – Jeantet advised OCEA Navale, an independent French shipyard for maritime safety, on the order and sale of 20 patrol vessels to the Ukrainian State for €136 million.
This order for 20 patrol vessels of FPB 98 (32 m long) intended for the Ukrainian border and coastguard service, and ratified by the Ukrainian Parliament on 24 July, provides for the construction of 15 patrol vessels in France and 5 others by the Ukrainian shipyard Nibulon, for a first delivery expected in 2021.
Created in 1987, the OCEA group, based in Vendée (French West Coast), with more than 400 employees spread over 4 production sites, has developed its activity as a civil and military shipbuilder in its own, as well as a subcontractor in particular for the Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
