Olivier Angotti




Olivier Angotti advises on the employment aspects of M&A transaction and subsequent restructuring of companies, including the preparation and implementation of redundancies. He also provides support to management during collective bargaining.
Olivier supports his clients in defining the legal strategy for the litigation proceedings. In addition to litigation specific to mass redundancies and the management of restructurings, he frequently handles litigation proceedings related to working time, dismissals and re-organisation of the workplace (health and safety-, asbestos- and stress-related litigation).
Olivier also has significant experience in charge of labour criminal law cases. He regularly organises the defence of company representatives during legal proceedings for various employment law matters including the illegal supply of workers, violations of working time regulations, or cases in connection with serious accidents on company premises.

Significant experience

  • Advising a French group active in the steel industry during the restructuring of several of its tubes & pipes rolling mills in France;
  • Advising a ready-mixed concrete manufacturing group during a series of disputes regarding the reclassification of lease agreements as contracts of employment, resulting in a reversal of precedent of the Second Civil Chamber of the French Court of Cassation;
  • Advising a French perfume retail group in litigation regarding night shifts and Sunday working, giving rise to two petitions in front of the constitutional court (QPC 373 and 374).
