Bernard Gauriau has many years’ experience in labour law (ten years working in the private sector, a university lecturer, trainer, and then lawyer). He is a specialist in this field, providing both research and advice.

He is called upon by the ENA [National School of Administration], ENM [National School for Magistrates], Alta Juris International network, Club social des experts-comptables (Social Club for Accounting Experts) and foreign universities (Spain, Hungary and Brazil). He is also a Lecturer/Researcher at the University of Angers (Centre Jean Bodin) and at the Paris II Labour Law Laboratory.

Bernard Gauriau has been made a Knight of the Order of Academic Palms (2007).

He has been Professor Emeritus at the Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and a Trainer at the Summer University for Lawyers since 1999, in addition to being a Professor at the University of Angers.

  • Speaker at international conferences in Budapest (1990), Spain (University of Granada, 2005) and Brazil (FMU and USP in 2000, 2012, 2013)
  • Speaker at national conferences (Labour Law Laboratory of Paris II, Centre Jean Bodin Angers) in the field of labour law.
