Jeantet advises the american fund Thoma Bravo in its acquisition of Talend
Paris, May 20th 2022 – Jeantet advised US investment fund Thoma Bravo in its financing of the acquisition of the Talend group, a leader in the field of integration and data integrity to the cloud valued at 2.4 billion US dollars.
The transaction was financed by a bank debt arranged by the American fund Owl Rock Capital Corporation.
Thoma Bravo is a leading investment firm with over 40 years of experience in the software and technology services sectors.
Talend, which was established in 2005 in Suresnes, France, is a world leader in the field of integration and data integrity to the cloud. Listed on the Nasdaq, the group has more than 1,200 employees, most of whom are based in France (Suresnes and Nantes).
Jeantet’s team for this financing was composed of Jean-François Adelle (Partner, Banking Finance) and Thibault Mercier (Associate, Banking Finance).
This transaction follows the acquisition of the group by way of a takeover bid, in which Cyril Deniaud, partner, and Benjamin Cohu, associate (Corporate / Stock Exchange Law Department) were involved.
