Jeantet advises the Sasa Demarle Group and Argos Wityu on the acquisition of Mokaya
Paris, 13 January 2020 – Jeantet advised the French Sasa Demarle Group, a specialist in non-stick cooking support for the bakery, pastry and food service industries, on the acquisition of the start-up Mokaya, a creator of tailor-made pastry moulds using 3D printing.
Created in 2017 by Yoann Maire, Bordan Petrynka and Geoffrey Taieb, Mokaya offers pastry professionals the design and production of bespoke pastry moulds using 3D printing technology and has clients from renowned houses or tables such as Fauchon, Pierre Hermé, Shangri-La, Mandarin Oriental…
This acquisition by the Sasa Demarle Group, with the support of the private equity fund Argos Wityu, enables the world leader in the manufacture and distribution of firing supports in more than 120 countries to add 3D design to its industrial know-how, with the aim of cutting its time to market by a factor of 3 and targeting its development on the US market.
