La Société Européenne est une forme sociale désormais utilisée dans la majorité des Etats membres de l’UE. Après une transition tardive des textes communautaires dans les législations nationales, le nombre de SE ne cesse de croître dans l’UE.
Outre l’image européenne qu’il véhicule, le statut de SE facilite les opérations transfrontalières et s’adresse aux grands groupes comme aux ETI optant pour un développement à l’international. Un exposé des exemples issus de la pratique permettra d’en cerner les enjeux. Des échanges sur la mise en oeuvre et un retour d’expérience de groupes comme SCOR et Pierre & Vacances, qui ont positionné plusieurs SE dans leur organigramme, permettront de saisir les opportunités de constitution d’une SE utiles pour la stratégie d’un groupe.
