Nicolas Capelli is a partner in Jeantet’s Private Funds department.
Specialising in the structuring of investment funds, he has over 14 years’ experience gained in London, Paris and Luxembourg. He advises management companies on the structuring and raising of capital for private equity, venture capital, mezzanine, private debt and real estate funds, particularly in the hospitality, value-add and core sectors.
He also advises on secondary transactions, both LP-led and GP-led, and advises French and international institutional investors as well as family offices on their investments in funds.
Nicolas also has recognised expertise in structuring semi-liquid funds, notably FCPRs and ELTIFs, intended for distribution to retail investors via unit-linked policies in French and Luxembourg life insurance contracts.
Alongside his practice, Nicolas is the founder of the association Les Jeunes du Private Equity (JPE), an organisation bringing together professionals from the private equity and asset management sectors.
