Yvon Dreano




Yvon Dréano assists French and foreign clients, industrial businesses and investment funds in their merger & acquisition and complex restructuring operations. He also acts in relation to strategic alliances and joint ventures, operations concerning listed companies and governance issues. His expertise also includes judicial and arbitration litigation of equity transactions.

Yvon is a member of the Jeantet Conseil des Associés (Board of Partners).

Significant experience

  • Assisting the company AREVA in setting up a joint venture with the Spanish company Gamesa (Iberdrola group) in the field of offshore wind power (2015).
  • Assisting the AB-Inbev group (leading global brewer) in the sale of its bar, hotel and restaurant distribution activities in France since 2007.
  • Assisting the Dutch engineering group Grontmij in various sale operations of its activities in France since 2013.
  • Assisting the Superba group in the sale of its textile machinery manufacturing activities in France and the US (2015).
  • Assisting the Austrian group Huber Holding in the acquisition of the brand HOM from the Swiss-German group Triumph International (2015).
  • Advising SIGV (CalPERS pension fund) in its acquisition of a stake in TOBAM (formerly Lehman Brothers Asset Management France) and then in the partial sale of this holding to the Amundi group (Crédit Agricole group) (since 2011).
  • Assisting the investment fund Madison Dearborn Partners LLC in the acquisition of the company Schrader (automotive parts) (2012) and then in the sale of the company (2014).
  • Assisting the managers of Voyages Kuoni in the acquisition (MBO) of the French tour operation activities from the Swiss group Kuoni (2013).
  • Assisting a French industrial group in its governance and shareholder relations issues since 2010.
  • Assisting a Japanese group in the mechanical construction sector as part of its restructuring activities in France and Europe.
  • Assisting an American industrial group (personal protection equipment) as part of the restructuring of its activities in France and Europe.
