Florent Prunet advises and assists businesses in various economic sectors with regard to anti-competitive practices (specialised advice and litigation, compensation litigation, visits and seizures, etc.), merger control (French and European), distribution and consumption (networks, distribution and representation agreements, advertising, commercial practices) and generally defends them in all their economic litigation cases.

Significant experience

  • Assisting a sports association in a complaint lodged with the European Commission regarding competition.
  • Assisting a major player in the cultural products sector in proceedings for anti-competitive practices before the Competition Authority.
  • Assisting various businesses in “follow-on” compensation litigation cases before the Commercial courts, following infringement decisions for anti-competitive practices.
  • Assisting major players in different industrial sectors (cleaning products, etc.) in proceedings brought by the DGCCRF [French Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Prevention of Fraud] in the field of consumer law.
  • Assisting various players in the energy sector in aspects concerning regulation and competition law as they relate to their activity (in particular, offering assistance before the regulatory authorities: Energy Regulation Commission and its Dispute Settlement and Sanctions Committee).
  • Assisting different industrial and financial players in notifying their merger operations to the Competition Authority or the European Commission.
  • Assisting players from different sectors (digital services, press, publishing, Internet) in the competition aspects of setting up electronic marketplaces.
