Paul Cocchiello
Lawyer since 1996, she joined the corporate M&A department at JeantetAssociés. As such, she runs a division named Jeantet Family, which provides family owned businesses with professional legal services custom made for their specific needs, but also inspired by the best practices that Jeantet has developed for its Corporate and Private Equity clients. She assists her clients in implementing their development and growth strategies, and anticipating the transmission of the business to the next generation, and advises on solving the legal problems that they encounter in their day-to-day business, be it compensation and remuneration of managers or conflicts between shareholders Thanks to her training as a mediator, she is also experienced in conflict management, and has the necessary know how and skills to solve or help prevent conflicts which sometimes arise between family shareholders and to negotiate settlement agreements. A graduate from the leading French business school HEC in 1982, she offers her clients the benefit of a substantial operational experience acquired “in house”, having acted for the international development of industrial and/or public French groups (EDF, MERIDIEN/AIR FRANCE, DMC, altogether 14 years), combined with an intimate knowledge of financial matters thanks to the time she worked as an investment banker (two years for BARCLAYS). She has been a corporate lawyer for the last 14 years, including 10 years as a partner in multidisciplinary professional service firms (ARTHUR ANDERSEN, which became ERNST & YOUNG in 2002).
