Over the years labor law has become more complex. The laws and regulations, which are more and more numerous, as well as changing case law, shape and reshape the rules governing the relations between employers and employees. This is true both with respect to French law and European law. In this changing and unstable context, executives need reliable legal counsel who are responsive and creative when a standard approach does not apply. The goal is to permit the executive to take decisions on a fully informed basis. We know well that today the incorrect application of a legal rule can have dramatic consequences for a business. It can result in the cancellation of a redundancy plan or even criminal liability for the manager. To meet these challenges, the labor law group at Jeantet can field a team of 15 lawyers, including 3 partners, who are specialists in representing businesses in both collective and individual labor law matters, both as advisors and as litigation counsel. We work in several languages (French, English, German, Italian) because our cases are not necessarily confined to France. At Jeantet we have a truly international experience which enables us to gain the confidence of our foreign clients when they are faced with French labor law issues and also to assist our clients in connection with their international operations..
